Advantages and functions of high chlorinated polyethylene HCPE

Advantages and functions of high chlorinated polyethylene HCPE

1. Core advantages
Weather resistance and corrosion resistance: HCPE has a stable molecular structure, random distribution of chlorine atoms, and can resist corrosion from UV, ozone, acid, alkali, salt and other chemical media, making it suitable for harsh environments.
Flame retardancy: It can self extinguish after 15 seconds of combustion, meeting fire safety requirements.
Low temperature toughness: maintains flexibility even at minus 30 ℃, suitable for use in cold regions.
Environmental friendliness: non-toxic and odorless, with low pollution during production, in compliance with green material standards.
2. Main functions
(1) Anti corrosion coating field
As a base material, it is used as a single component anti-corrosion coating for ships, bridges, chemical equipment, etc. It is resistant to water, oil, acid, alkali, salt, and atmospheric corrosion, has strong adhesion, and is easy to maintain (new and old coatings are miscible).
(2) Adhesive and Ink Modification
Adhesive: High viscosity HCPE-H can replace vinyl chloride adhesive and is used for bonding PVC pipes and metal materials. After dissolving in solvents such as toluene, it forms a high-strength adhesive solution.
Ink: enhances wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and flame retardancy, suitable for high-end printing.
(3) Other industrial applications
As an impact modifier for PVC, it enhances the toughness of plastic products.
Used for cable sheaths, rubber products (such as hoses, tapes), and magnetic material modification.
3. Product classification and packaging
HCPE-H: High viscosity, 25kg/bag, specifically designed for PVC adhesives.
HCPE-M: Medium viscosity, used for anti-corrosion/fireproof coatings.
HCPE-L: Low viscosity, compatible with acrylic resin, suitable for underground pipeline protection.
