“Internet plus” Recycling becomes popular

The development of renewable resources industry is characterized by gradual improvement of recycling system, initial scale of industrial agglomeration, extensive application of “Internet plus”, and gradual improvement of standardization. The main categories of recycled resources in China include scrap steel, scrap non-ferrous metals, scrap plastics, scrap paper, scrap tires, scrap electrical and electronic products, scrap motor vehicles, scrap textiles, scrap glass, and scrap batteries.
In recent years, the scale of China’s renewable resources industry has expanded rapidly, especially since the “11th Five Year Plan”, the total amount of renewable Recycling in the main categories has been increasing year by year. The average annual recycling value during the 13th Five Year Plan period reached 824.868 billion yuan, an increase of 25.85% compared to the 12th Five Year Plan period and 116.79% compared to the 11th Five Year Plan period.
At present, there are more than 90000 renewable Recycling enterprises in China, with small and medium-sized enterprises occupying the mainstream and about 13 million employees. Recycling networks have been established in most regions of the country, and the recycling Recycling system integrating recycling, sorting and distribution has gradually improved.
In the context of the Internet, the “Internet plus” recycling model is gradually becoming the development trend and new trend of the industry. As early as the 11th Five Year Plan period, China’s renewable resources industry began to explore and practice the “Internet plus” recycling model. With the increasing penetration of internet thinking, new recycling methods such as intelligent recycling and automatic recycling machines are constantly developing.
However, achieving high-quality development in the industry is a long and arduous task. In response to the many existing problems, future industry practitioners and the China Material Recycling Association need to work together to seek solutions, jointly promote the healthy and long-term development of the material recycling industry, and contribute to the achievement of the “dual carbon” goal.
