Application fields

Used instead of chlorinated rubber to make adhesives. It can also be used as a modifier for adhesives, high-grade inks and other products, which can improve adhesion, corrosion resistance, flame retardancy, and wear-resistant parts. Store in a cool, ventilated and dry warehouse, away from moisture.

HCPE-H(high viscosity) is mainly used for anti-corrosion coatings and fire-resistant coatings as a substitute resin for chlorosulfonated polyethylene.

HCPE-M (medium viscosity)  can be used as a special resin for steel anti-corrosion coatings and surface coatings for buried pipelines.

HCPE-L (low viscosity), due to its low viscosity, can be compatible with acrylic resin and alkyd resin, and can be used as a special resin for anti-corrosion coatings, container coatings, road marking paints, and surface coatings for buried pipelines.

Due to the regular molecular structure, saturation, low polarity and good chemical stability of chlorinated rubber, various anti-corrosion coatings prepared with it have the characteristics of fast drying of coating film, good adhesion, resistance to chemical media and excellent resistance to moisture penetration.

Highly chlorinated polyethylene HCPE has excellent atmospheric aging resistance and chemical medium resistance, is easily soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, esters, ketones and other organic solvents, and has good compatibility with most inorganic and organic pigments used in coatings. Generally, it is suitable for dissolving into 40% solid content resin solution for painting.
